Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration at NSIT – 27th August 2025

Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha – the remover of obstacles and harbinger of wisdom and prosperity – was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at NSIT. This annual event reflects our commitment to embracing cultural diversity and fostering unity among our students and faculty.

Program Highlights

1. Ganesh Sthapana

An eco-friendly idol of Lord Ganesha was gracefully installed in a beautifully decorated shrine. The ceremony was led by our Honourable Vice President, Campus Director and Principal, Dr. Sailesh Iyer, in the presence of faculty, staff, and students, marking the auspicious beginning of the celebration.

Prayers and Aarti
The NSIT family, including the Vice-President, Campus Director, Principal, faculty members, and students, came together to offer bhajans, prayers, and aarti, seeking the divine blessings of Lord Ganesha for wisdom, peace, and prosperity.

Eco-Friendly Initiative

Staying true to our responsibility towards the environment, the idol was crafted from biodegradable materials, and eco-conscious decorations were used. This initiative reinforced NSIT’s dedication to sustainability and environmental awareness.

79th Independence Day Celebration at NSIT-IFSCS

On 15th August, NSIT-IFSCS proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, CA Kaushik C. Patel, whose presence made the occasion even more memorable.

The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by a heartfelt flag dance and soulful patriotic songs performed by the talented students of the School of NSIT. Adding to the vibrance, the college students of NSIT presented an energetic and graceful dance performance, filling the atmosphere with the spirit of freedom and unity.

The event truly reflected our respect for the nation, the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, and the unity that binds us together as proud Indians.

Visit of Prof. (Dr.) Yogendra Kumar Mishra – A Day of Insightful Engagement at NSIT-IFSCS

We were honored to host Prof. (Dr.) Yogendra Kumar Mishra, Professor at the University of Southern Denmark, and an internationally acclaimed expert in 3D smart materials and nano-architectures.

The day was marked by a series of impactful engagements, including:

  • Interactive faculty discussions focused on collaborative research and academic exchange

  • Visits to state-of-the-art laboratories, highlighting ongoing innovations and capabilities

  • Scientific dialogues on emerging trends in materials science, nanotechnology, and their forensic applications
