Faculty Profile: Following a B.Sc. Program degree from University of Delhi in 2011, I obtained M.Sc. Industrial Chemistry in 2013, M.Phil. in 2016 and a Ph.D. degree form Central University of Gujarat Gandhinagar Gujarat. During my M.Phil. And Ph.D. I worked on nanoparticle synthesis via microemulsion, hydrothermal, solid phase synthesis, and co-precipitation method. I developed a new methodology for the synthesis of lanthanide sulphide nanorods at low temperature. My research experiences allow me to be an expert in the area of heterogeneous catalysts  in transition/lanthanide metal sulfide doped graphene oxide and bio-active active molecule functionalised graphene oxide nanomaterial synthesis for photocatalytic dye degradation, drug degradation, hazardous metal detection, HER and OER from industrial waste water effluent.  I also established strong collaboration with UGC-DAE Indore in this research field. Some of these collaborative works were published in peer reviewed  journals such as Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, Solid State Sciences Journal, and RSC Advances. During my PhD, I had the opportunity to mentor colleagues in the laboratory and supervise more than 15 master students during their academic project. After my Ph.D. I worked as assistant professor at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University from 17th January 2024 to 22nd January 2025.
