The LearnXchange Club, NSIT-IFSCS, successfully organized a poster presentation event on “Applications of Mathematics in Cyber Security” on March 25, 2026, at the Cyber Lobby.

The event brought together innovation and analytical thinking, where 12 B.Tech Cyber Security students showcased their creative posters under the guidance of Dr. Akash Thakkar. With enthusiastic participants, the session turned into an engaging platform for learning, discussion, and idea exchange.

The exhibition was visited by the Principal Prof. (Dr.) Sailesh Iyer, Head of Department Dr. Nikunj Tahilramani, faculty members, and students, who actively interacted with the presenters, making the event lively and insightful.

From encryption techniques to real-world cyber threat detection, the event highlighted how mathematics plays a crucial role in building secure digital systems.

Strategic Squad CTF 2026 – A Proud Initiative by NSIT-IFSCS

NSIT-IFSCS is delighted to share the successful organization of Strategic Squad CTF 2026 on March 24, 2026.

This student-led cybersecurity event stands as a remarkable example of innovation, resilience, and technical excellence. The Capture The Flag (CTF) platform was entirely designed and developed by our M.Sc. Cyber Security students, transforming challenges into an opportunity to build a professional-grade competitive environment.

Empowering Young Minds with Financial Wisdom

NSIT-IFSCS, through the LearnXchange Club in association with the Department of Management Studies, successfully organized an enriching session on “Financial Literacy for Young Achievers: Invest Smart, Plan Better.”

 

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from 100+ students, reflecting the growing interest in financial awareness and smart money management among young achievers.

 

The session offered students valuable insights into smart investing, effective financial planning, and strategies for building a secure financial future. The practical guidance and real-world perspectives shared made the session highly engaging and impactful.

 

We were honoured to have Prof. (Dr.) Sailesh Iyer, Principal Sir, share his valuable experiences and words of wisdom. His insights on financial discipline, long-term vision, and responsible decision-making truly inspired the students.

One-Week National Level STTP

Successfully Completed One-week national-level Short-Term Training Programme (STTP) titled “AI Sentinel: Pioneering Cybersecurity & Digital Investigation”, sponsored by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), was successfully organized by the Department of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics at Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology-Institute of Forensic Science and Cyber Security (NSIT-IFSCS) under the aegis of the IEEE Gujarat Section.

 

The program offered hands-on exposure to AI applications in cybersecurity and digital forensics, bridging theory with industry practice. Key areas included AI-driven security, digital investigations, OSINT, forensic documentation, deepfake detection, and emerging law enforcement challenges.

Students and participants from across India actively took part in this enriching learning experience.

Faculty Training Session on MyFRT – Unified Digital Forensics Platform

NSIT-IFSCS successfully organized a hands-on training session for faculty members on MyFRT – a Unified Digital Forensics Platform, under the MoU collaboration with Karpuragaur.ai India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, strengthening practical exposure to digital forensics tools.

 

The session provided valuable insights into digital forensics workflows, including data acquisition, analysis, recovery, disk imaging, and secure remote access—enhancing practical understanding of modern digital investigation tools.

 

We sincerely thank Mr. Pruthviraj Dhadhal for delivering an insightful and engaging session and for sharing his expertise with our faculty members.

Entrepreneurship Hunt 2026: Where Ideas Met Execution

NSIT-IFSCS, Jetalpur, Ahmedabad successfully organized “Entrepreneurship Hunt” on 31st January 2026 — a hands-on learning experience where ideas met execution.

 

With 12 student-run stalls and a total turnover of ₹38,000, students showcased real-time entrepreneurial skills in planning, pricing, marketing, and operations. From food to games, creativity was on full display.

Satya Samadhan 2.0 – National Crime Scene Investigation Competition

Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology – Institute of Forensic Sciences and Cybersecurity (NSIT–IFSCS), Jetalpur successfully organized Satya Samadhan 2.0 – National Crime Scene Investigation Competition, witnessing enthusiastic participation from 45 teams and 225 students from across the country.

The program emphasized the crucial role of forensic science, scientific investigation, and logical reasoning in the justice delivery system, providing participants with valuable hands-on exposure to real-world crime scene investigation procedures.

Competition Structure:

• Round 1 – Quiz: Testing fundamental forensic knowledge
• Round 2 – Secret Task: Analysis of simulated case files
• Round 3 – Mock Crime Scene Investigation: Evidence collection and detailed forensic reporting

Winners:

First Prize – Case Crackers – National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar (₹20,000)
Second Prize – Satyanveshi – National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar & Justice Squad – Parul University (₹15,000)

LearnXchange Club Inauguration

Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology – Institute of Forensic Sciences and Cybersecurity (NSIT–IFSCS) successfully inaugurated the LearnXchange Club — Where Learning Never Stops, an academic initiative designed to promote peer learning, academic engagement, and knowledge exchange beyond the classroom.

Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology – Institute of Forensic Sciences and Cybersecurity (NSIT–IFSCS) proudly commemorated the 77th Republic Day of India with great patriotism, dignity, and enthusiasm at Narnarayan Shastri Institute of Technology-Institute of forensic sciences and cybersecurity, Jetalpur, Ahmedabad. The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Dr. Gopal Desai, whose inspiring address highlighted the values of the Indian Constitution, national unity, and the responsibility of youth in nation-building.

 

The event witnessed mesmerizing performances by Swaminarayan School students, and nursing college students showcasing the rich cultural diversity, discipline, and patriotic spirit of India through soulful songs, energetic dances, and thought-provoking skits. Each performance beautifully reflected the ideals of freedom, equality, and harmony that define our Republic.

 

The ceremony stood as a proud reminder of our democratic legacy and reaffirmed our collective commitment to uphold the constitutional values that guide our nation forward. A truly memorable celebration filled with pride, inspiration, and respect for the tricolor.
