Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration at NSIT – 27th August 2025

Ganesh Chaturthi, the festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha – the remover of obstacles and harbinger of wisdom and prosperity – was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at NSIT. This annual event reflects our commitment to embracing cultural diversity and fostering unity among our students and faculty.

Program Highlights

1. Ganesh Sthapana

An eco-friendly idol of Lord Ganesha was gracefully installed in a beautifully decorated shrine. The ceremony was led by our Honourable Vice President, Campus Director and Principal, Dr. Sailesh Iyer, in the presence of faculty, staff, and students, marking the auspicious beginning of the celebration.

Prayers and Aarti
The NSIT family, including the Vice-President, Campus Director, Principal, faculty members, and students, came together to offer bhajans, prayers, and aarti, seeking the divine blessings of Lord Ganesha for wisdom, peace, and prosperity.

Eco-Friendly Initiative

Staying true to our responsibility towards the environment, the idol was crafted from biodegradable materials, and eco-conscious decorations were used. This initiative reinforced NSIT’s dedication to sustainability and environmental awareness.
